Launched in 2015, Laxmi was imagined by serial entreprenuer, Leila Janah, CEO and Founder of Samasource. Harvesting local ingredients from the Nile River, Laxmi’s mission was to help woman in Uganda earn a living wage. I was fortunate enough to help create the brand from the ground up, working alongside Leila to create the name, brand identity and packaging system for this do-good brand of organic skincare.
